Bach Flower Remedies

Animals, like people, are more than the sum of their moving parts. They are intelligent beings capable of learning by themselves which clearly requires thought and memory. If they are capable of intelligent thoughts then clearly they are able to feel emotions so Bach Flower Remedies can help them just as they can help us. We need however to be aware of the differences between us and other animals and between different species of animals to successfuly select remedies for them.

Aspen

Beech

They are manipulatively loving in order to keep control. The remedy helps them become more unselfish, self-assured and loving animals.

Clematis

Bach clematisYou may notice that your animal is unusually distant, having no interest in the world around him, preferring to sleep all the time and is having difficulty paying attention to you. The Clematis remedy will help him to take a more lively interest in the world and enjoy life again.

Crab Apple

Bach crab appleCats and dogs that constantly lick themselves or nibble obsessively at their fur could benefit from Crab Apple. The remedy helps the animal become more relaxed, accepting itself as it is.

Elm

Bach elmAnimals in need of Elm feel burdened by a sense of responsibility. For example cats, dogs or horses who take part in shows and who are normally confident but suddenly panic when about to enter the arena and shy away showing signs of distress. Rescue Remedy would be helpful for the stage fright but Elm should be considered if the animal is normally steady and reliable. Elm would be useful for a mother who abandons her littler because she cannot face or cope with the expectations of her young. Guide dogs and hearing dogs may also need Elm from time to time. Gorse
